Which fuel should I use?
We always recommend charcoal briquettes. Charcoal briquettes have performed best in our countless tests. The easiest way to light charcoal briquettes is with a fireplace. Normally this is done quite quickly in about 20-30 minutes depending on the wind situation. Please make sure that the ground is fireproof. As soon as the briquettes get a soft surface they are ready. It is also important to mention that the charcoal briquettes are evenly distributed in the fire pan.

May I use a barbecue table on my balcony?
In principle, it is always necessary to clarify the regulations in the respective country. In Austria and Germany, barbecuing on the terrace, balcony or in the garden (or courtyard) is permitted by law. This applies to rented flats, condominiums and owner-occupied homes. However, there are some restrictions: According to the General Civil Code, indirect effects on neighbouring properties such as smoke, odour and noise are prohibited if the usual values are exceeded. For this to be the case, however, the customary use of the property must have been severely impaired - for example, by extreme smoke development. In this case, neighbours can take action against polluters by means of prohibitions.

What do I need to consider before buying?
We are happy to advise you by phone, email, Whatsapp Zoom. We can also explore the intended space via video telephony and check the suitability together with you. Basically, the surface should be firm and straight. The ground should also be able to withstand a load of at least 100kg. Ideally, the site should be relatively sheltered from the wind. Please also read our operating instructions to eliminate further sources of danger.
